Hello. We are joining so many local businesses who want to reach out to you with information regarding our plans for next week. Journey to Hope Is planning to be open. All of us plan to be in the office with normal counseling hours. However, we want to be sensitive to any of you who feel you need to stay home and want to opt for a video or telephone session. We will follow our normal cancellation policy and ask that you cancel or confirm as soon as possible if you are scheduled for this upcoming week. Of course, if you are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, a dry cough, or headaches that are not typical and/or seasonal for you, we ask that you cancel your appointment with notice. Please let us know what is best for you.
Additionally, for those of you who are on our counseling schedule this week and next week (March 16 - 27), we will be making a courtesy call the day before your appointment in addition to the text/email reminder and we will be asking two questions.
Are you having any symptoms?
Are you aware if you have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
If your answer is yes to either question, we are going to ask you cancel your in-person appointment and choose a telephone or video session instead. It can still be at your appointment time. To arrange for a video/telephone session at your appointment time, please contact us so that we can go over the details and logistics with you.
We are doing everything that we can to guarantee safety and wellness for your as well as for us and family members who may be at risk. We care about all of you who see us at Journey to Hope and we will do everything we can to keep our care for you consistent in all the ways we can.
We are taking every precaution at the office to make sure all areas are cleaned after every appointment. Holding onto hope in troubling times can be a challenge. But we all have to figure out how to trust God in these very times. We can be tempted to believe that when life is hard or things seem scary, then God is somehow untrustworthy. One of the biggest road-blocks in trusting God during difficult times is the confusion. And so many mixed messages. Thankfully, God’s message and His love for us does not change when our circumstances change or when the world is experiencing many changes like right now. He is the same great God in the valleys of life that He is on the mountaintops. Praying for you to use this time to remember and focus on the very heart of God. He is greater always than anything we face in this world.
Praying for you,
Susie~
